Mr. Ralston has worked for FCPS for the last 11 years.  He was most recently the Assistant Principal at Weyanoke ES for 3 years.  Mr. Ralston began his career at FCPS as a Special Education teacher at Churchill Road ES.  Before that he was a Peace Corps Volunteer in both Mongolia and Tonga.  Mr. Ralston worked for Whiteriver Unified School District on the White Mountain Apache Indian Reservation as a fourth grade teacher while earning his Master degree in Elementary Education. Mr. Ralston was the sole teacher for the children of performers at Ringling Bros. & Barnum and Bailey circus for 2 years.  In this role he worked with 24 children ages Kindergarten to twelfth grade following New York state curriculum guidelines. Mr. Ralston has 2 children.  His daughter is currently in fourth grade and his son is in second grade.  They both attend Fairfax County Public Schools
